Coca-Cola – Unity
Coca-Cola has teamed up with LeBron James and Yao Ming in their most recent animated television commercial entitled “Unity.”
In the commercial we’re shown these two colossal basketball stars as they prepare for a final showdown on the court by calling up various animated images that represent each of their countries.
Before they actually clash in battle though, they smile and end up sharing a nice cold bottle of Coca-Cola instead (With the message of “Unity” appearing as they drink).
Dylan Lee (Copywriter) and Mira Kaddoura (Art Director) from Wieden + Kennedy created this commercial with Hal Curtis and Sheena Brady as the W+K creative directors. This spot was produced by Kevin Diller and used Nexus as the production company. Smith & Foulkes directed with Melody Sylvester as the producer (Julia Parfitt was the EP). Eclectic was given credit for the music in this piece with Cliff Wilson from Digital One in charge of all the post production audio work.
