Above is a commercial for Freddy, a leading Italian sportswear company, to promote the Italian sports teams competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

In addition to the television piece, there is an accompanying print campaign featuring Elisa Santoni, a member of the Italian Olympic Rhythmical Dance Team, and Simone Collio, member of the Italian Olympic 100 Meter Sprint Team.

Dadomani’s studio made the set construction and animation of Freddy Commercial. All the elements which compose the set are created by wood, iron, resin and paper. Every part of it was modular, to help along animation. The animation was realized by stop motion technique on film. This commercial win the Cannes Young director price. Freddy, leading Italian company in sportswear, is now Technical Sponsor and Official Supplier for the Italian Olympic team in Beijing in 2008. All members of the Italian Team, about 1000, including athletes, technicians and managers, will wear the Freddy official uniform
