A new spot for AT&T and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver paying tribute to inspiring athletes from the past. In this particular piece the athlete is 2006 Olympic Silver Medalist in Snowboarding Gretchen Bleiler.

great commercial. Was David Bowie the singer? Sounds like him and the commercial from his older “ground control to major Tom….”

It’s Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” from his 1972 Transformer album. Incidentally, David Bowie produced the album and also offered his creative assistance. Good ear.
